To make sure you have the best experience with the app, your device needs to be able to communicate with our Shopkick servers (to show you offers in the app!). If you run into connectivity issues, try the tips and tricks below.
1. Stable Connection: Verify that your Wifi or mobile data connection is stable. Large buildings like Costco, Target, and Walmart may disrupt your mobile connection. Tip: Try joining the store's Wifi if they have it available to shoppers!
2. Offline Mode: We're always working to improve offline capabilities. Just keep these in mind:
3. Timely Connection: If you finish scans in offline mode, reconnect within an hour to earn your kicks. After an hour, we won't be able to award you kicks.
4. Kicks Availability: Offers might run out of kicks while you're offline. If they do, we won't be able to award your kicks, even after you reconnect.
5. Scan Limits: You may hit a scan limit that we can only detect once you're back online.
