We require you to run all qualifying transactions as credit if you want to get kicks with your linked eligible card. If the eligible card machine asks you for your PIN, you need to cancel it in order to run it as credit instead of debit.  There are no additional charges to you for making a credit qualifying transaction instead of debit, it can just take a little longer for the money to be taken out of your account.
